"Moon Safari" is back with a full-length studio album after more than 10 years - not counting the interesting collaboration in 2016 with Steve Nardelli and his band "The Syn". It's the long-awaited second part of "Himlabacken", and it's in the same vein, to my delight. Once again, incredible melody arcs and lush vocal harmonies in abundance! Pontus Åkesson surprises with an AOR ballad - unusual for the band, but such a magnificent one that it became my favorite track.

This might be the least folky of the Wobbler releases and I wasn't sure about it at all. After a few listens however I'm loving the inventiveness and the endless melodies, all driven along by Kristian Hultgren's wonderful percussive bass.

The revived Big Big Train shows that you can't keep a good band down for long with a fairly easy listening, non confrontational selection of songs both traditionally long and catchingly short. if at times the acoustic guitars and sharp keyboard breaks are reminiscent of early Genesis then this is fully intended and respectful to the likes of Messrs Rutherford, Banks and Phillips. Vocal harmonies are, as expected, a delight to the ear and the whole is a big step forward from Welcome To The Planet
